Grocery Shopping

I need to do some grocery shopping.  On the WW plan, it calls for a multi-vitamin once a day.  I don't ever take those, so I need to buy some along with some sandwich thins, vegetables and oatmeal.

I love my grocery store!  It's only been open a year, so it still has that brand new feeling to it.  My store has a ton of fresh produce every day, a great deli and bakery (which I will be staying away from) and an awesome fresh meat and seafood department.  The seafood department will cook any fish they have free of charge!  It's great when I am needing something different for a quick lunch.

Today I will be visiting the produce department to load up on some fresh vegetables.  I love all root vegetables the best - beets, turnips, parsnips, carrots, etc.  I also love fresh green beans, brussel sprouts, all squashes and salad mix.  Yumm!  Let's not forget about the amazing fruit!  Grapes are tasting so sweet right now.  And don't get me started on the pears.  Sweet, succulent and grainy.  Yumm!!!!

Okay, that's all for now.  I need to get to work because I have two meetings today.  I am getting a late start since I had a conference call I took from home.  Have a wonderful day!

  1. One of my favorite snacks is frozen grapes. I wash them and measure out one cup portions which I put in baggies and freeze. Just an idea for you.

I was reading your last post and I'm kind of flabbergasted that you get 50 points a day -- really 57 if you use the weekly points too. That is a lot of food if you are eating healthy and following the good health guidelines. It will be interesting to see how fast you lose on that. :)

  2. I love pears right now! I never tried a fresh pear until joining WW. Now I'm hooked! My Nature's Own sandwich thins are only 2 pp each. Had one for bfast this morning with turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on it. Yum.

  3. Hi again. I'm so sorry I caused you to worry about your points. I'm sure it is correct and as you lose, you'll also adjust the points down every so often. It's just that I've never known anyone who had that many points. I'm sure as you stick with the program that you will be losing quickly and that is great for you. :)
